Solo mis amigos tienen acceso a mi perfil.
Así que ya sabéis, nos vemos en Facebook (buscando por mi nombre y apellidos me encontraréis)
Un saludo y hasta otra.

The British Experience ( & III)

Thursday ,7th
Everybody say that today you cross a red line. Today you begin to understand English.
During the morning, we have readen newspapers and we´ve talked about some news.
In the afternoon, Shakespeare´s inmersion. I´ve gone to visit the Shakespeare´s places with my teatcher Simon. As I´ve learnt this week. When you think that something is quite bored you have to say: "Very Interesting".
So, very interesting. There are four places to visit: Shalespeare´s Birthplace (ejem, ejem), Hall´s Croft (Shakespeare´s daugther house, with a nice garden), the Holy Trinity Church (you have to pay to visit the Shakespeare´s cave) and the Anne Hathaway´s Cottage (ejem, ejem, again).
At 8 pm (fantastic the sauce made with mustard and mascarpone cheese that Valerie has cooked) we met at WindMill, a pub established in 1600, where Shakespeare was one day before he died.

Friday, 8th
My last day at school. Victoria said to us past morning that today we have to talk about some topic.
Christian has choosen the management of e-mails, I have choosen "las tapas", Tetsu , the Sumo, Cathy the trips and Stephanie how in each country we use the polite form to talk to customers, old people,...
Afternoon class, and then the fairywell party. Visit cards up and down, laughs, kisses and best wishes for the future.
Last time buyings , pack all my things in the suitcase and tomorrow at 7...

Nice week!!!!

The British Experience (II)

Tuesday, 5th
Today I´ve discovered an amazing TV program. It´s called "Dragon´s Den". In this program, inventors go to look for money. This money is given by one of the 5 dragons, real rich persons, who decide if they want to invest or not in that bussiness.
I wish, we can watch the Spanish version in a short time.
Today, after the dinner, we has came back to the academy. The social activity programmed for today was "Mass construction". You have to build a tall tower with sheets, tape and paperclips. The winner is the team who build the tallest tower with less sheets.
We (a Japanese, a German, a British -teacher- and me) hace built a 3,35 mts tower with just 17 sheets. Only there is a problem: it colapses.
We came back home at 12:30 after some beers in The Garrick (an old pub with an Spanish waiter).

Wednesday 6th
At lunch time I´ve bougth my Barbour jacket.
The weather is quite nice. It has rained this morning, but in the afternoon the sun won the match. Our social activity today was a tour for visiting some near villages. It hasn´t been too interesting, and the dinner was quite bad and very expensive , but we´ve enjoyed.

The British Experience (I)

During these days, I´ll try to write some words each day to tell you my experience, here in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Sunday, 3rd
I´ve just arrived at my home. Valerie , my "mum" is waiting for me. She´s a lovely old british lady. She, her husdand and their cat, Whisky, will be my host family during this week.
My room is quite confortable, british style but confortable, and I´m so tired than I can´t tell you any more.

Monday 4th
My first day at school. This morning I went with my Japanese home -mate, Tetsu. The weather is awful, and Stratford seems quite nice.
We arrive at Linguarama and Loles, a spanish recepcionist, gives me my ID and some recomendattions (in English, of course). This week, there are 7 Japanese (from Mitsubishi, KMPG and other companies), 2 Spanish, 2 Italian, 3 German, 1 French, 1 Argentinian and 1 Polish.
In the morning, Group Lessons with Victoria (she´s English teacher in the morning, Celo teacher in the evenings, and voleyball player during the weekends...and mother of two teenagers) , and Tetsu, Stephanie and Christian (from Germany) and Cathy (a 45 years-old French woman who works for IFTH, a company that works for clothes size standarization).
After the lunch (british style, one more time) my face-to-face lesson with Harry Potter (Valerie calls him so).
We went all together to visit the viilage (with Steven, the academy director) and at 7 o´clock, dinner time (spaghetti bolognesa, french wine and strawberries with vanilla ice).
Tomorrow will be another day.
